Richard Roberts LIVE with Guest Rhonda Cullison Part Two

CPS:  Three full wonderful days.  They will be back Wednesday night in time for their church, but all today and tomorrow and Wednesday, all the pastors–well, just about, there’s so much power here because there’s so many pastors here with power.

LR:  That’s right, the Lord is really going to do a wonderful thing. I really believe that.  When ministers, evangelists, pastors, apostles, prophets of God get together and minister the Word of God, I really believe something’s going to happen. (That’s right.)  Amen. Amen.  (Applause)  Well, in a minute Rhonda’s going to be with us, but right now the ORU Singers are ready to sing a wonderful song, “This Is the Day That the Lord Has Made.”  Let’s give them a welcome as they sing.  (Applause)

ORUS:  Singing “This Is the Day”  (Applause)

RR COMMENTARY OFFER  (Applause)

LR:  Amen.  You know, Richard wrote this commentary out of the hurts and the needs of his heart and also the things in the Bible that ministered to him the most.  The Four Gospels and the book of Acts really came alive to Richard while he was writing this, and he was recalling all the things that touched his life and touched his ministry, the Scriptures that led him to salvation, the Scriptures that taught him on healing.  And, you know, as you look over your life, especially being the son of a man like Oral Roberts, and knowing these Scriptures and having them burned into your heart and seeing the miracles of God come alive as you go through your childhood and to turn around and write about how these Scriptures touched Richard’s The best part about the Four Gospels and the Book of Acts, the way Richard wrote the Commentary is so you can understand it, so you can read it.  It’s not long, it’s not theological.  It’s just a man’s version of what the Bible meant to him and how the Bible came alive in his life.  And I really believe it will be a help to you.  So if you really want to understand the Four Gospels and the Book of Acts, just write for the Commentary today.  I really believe it’s a blessing.

CPS:  Oh, yes, and there’s so many people that do not understand. You read the Word and especially if you’re a new Christian or you haven’t really been in the Word.  Maybe you’ve been a Christian for several years but you haven’t been in the Word.  And it doesn’t make sense to you when you read it and so you put it back down.  And you pick it back up and you want to read and have such a desire, but you cannot understand it.  Well, Richard has made it simple enough and he’s explained it so normally, every day, and that’s what God–you know, it’s written from a time that at that point was everyday language. (That’s right.)  But now it’s not so everyday and when we read it it doesn’t always make sense to us.  But Richard has explained it, and it will make sense to you.  And so it will help you.  It will help you.

Richard Roberts LIVE with Guest Rhonda Cullison Part One

LR: Hello, and welcome to Richard Roberts Live. And today we really have a special guest today. I’m standing with Cheryl Prewitt Salem who was Miss America 1980, and we have a very, very special young lady with us, Rhonda Cullison, who is Miss National Teenager 1986. And she’s going to be joining us in just a few minutes. (Applause) She has a precious testimony about how the Lord really used her and she is really a miracle.

CPS: It’s going to be a great day because she can share a lot about losing, as well as winning. And there are a lot of people in this world who are watching today who we need to understand that you don’t always win the crown to win.

LR: That’s exactly right.

CPS: There are times when you lose in the world’s eyes, but you don’t always lose inside. And we’re going to do a lot of talking about that.

LR: That’s right. It’s a testimony about not giving up. If you have a young person in your home, a young person that’s–you know, teenagers sometimes go through things that as adults we look back and say, “Did we do that?” And we say, “Yes, we were just that.” Rhonda has a precious testimony about how she hungon to the Lord Jesus Christ and let the Lord direct her life. And I really believe that young people today are going to get a real healing when they listen to Rhonda’s testimony.

CPS: And there’s some parents that it won’t hurt to listen too.

LR: That’s exactly right.

CPS: And sometimes the combination, if both of you can sit down together, we’re going to be discussing some things that might help the relationships between parents and teenagers.

LR: That’s right, a testimony on self-image and self-healing. (Amen) That’s right. Richard’s out of town ministering. He’s going to be back with us shortly. But this afternoon is a special afternoon. We’re starting the Ministers Conference and we are excited about that happening today.

Richard Roberts LIVE with Guests Bill and Kim Nash Part Sixteenth

RR: Amen. Praise the Lord. (Applause) I really felt that coming up out of you, Lindsay. I really felt that.

LR: There is, there is a second chance.

RR: Did you bring a second song?

BN: I brought one. I even wrote it.

RR: Will you sing it?

BN: I’d love to sing it.

RR: Take off your microphone.

BN: Yes sir.

RR: Get over there, in the name of Jesus.

LR: These can sing.

RR: You can both sing. Praise the Lord. Give them a good handclap as they go over and get ready. (Applause)

LR: While they’re doing that, I want us to pray a special prayer for a lady named Sharon Craig. She’s in the City of Faith and she’s having twins and she’s in premature labor. And in the name of Jesus, Sharon, we speak God’s peace and God’s will to be done in that little babies, in both of those babies. In the name of Jesus, we speak healing for you.

RR: And for a healthy delivery, a healthy delivery.

LR: And God said there was a due season. And, Sharon, we speak that due season into your life right now, in Jesus’ name.

RR: Amen. Praise God for that. Boy, the anointing of the Spirit is here today. The anointing is on you.

LR: Hallelujah! Hallelujah! You know, when God’s got a miracle for you, brother, grab it. God had a miracle for me with Richard and I grabbed it. Reach out and grab your miracle. Get hold of it. (Applause) Don’t let go of your miracle.

RR: Bill and Kim, are you ready? Give them a good handclap as they sing the gospel. (Applause)

BILL AND KIM NASH: Here’s a prayer I wrote for our nation. It’s on the back side of a new record that’s out all over the country right now. I hope you like it. It’s called, “Lord, Guide This Nation.” We need prayer for our country right now more than anything, don’t we? (Singing “Lord, Guide This Nation”)

RR: And I add my prayers to the prayers of Bill and Kim in that song, praying for our nation. The Bible says we’re to pray for those that are in leadership positions. Kim and Bill, come back over. I pray–that’s all right, come right on in. In the name of Jesus, I pray for the leaders of this nation. I pray for our President, President Reagan, for Vice President Bush, for all of our Senators and Congressmen, on the national level, for all of our state Senators and State Representatives, for all of our Governors, for all of our Mayors, for all the elected officials, be they Democrat, Republican, Independent. I pray for you. And I pray for this nation. I pray for a healing in America. And I pray for you, for your body, for your mind, for your spirit, for your finances, for your family, for your loved ones. I pray for you to be healed today and restored and renewed and refreshed and to know that God will give you a second chance.

BN: My mother and dad are sitting up here. They just came for the deal. I didn’t know they were here. And my brother. Hi, mom, hi, dad.

RR: Praise the Lord. Well, God bless you. Well, we’ve run out of time. You’ve always wanted to do that on TV, say, hi, mom, hi, dad. (Laughter) I’m talking about my dad and mother too. Well, we’ve run out of time. Remember, I need your help on that clystron piece of equipment. Sow a seed today. I really need your help on the satellite. Until we see you tomorrow, no matter what it looks like, God can turn it around for you.

RR: Well, Bill, in my humanness I did not want to and I don’t want to talk about it. But the Lord spoke in my heart and said, “You are not the only couple that have ever lost a child. There are thousands and hundreds of thousands and millions of people who have lost children. Somebody’s got to minister to them. So Richard Roberts,” is what God’s saying to me, “no matter what you feel, you’re going to have to talk about it and minister to them. And while you’re doing that, I will heal you.” You see? And He has. (Applause) His Word is true.

LR: You know, the important thing is, the Bible says in all things we have to give glory to God. We have to praise God in all things. And, you know, our situations don’t always turn out good. My father died of leukemia when I was a little girl. But on the other hand, I learned so much from it and I learned so much in my faith that when my best friend called me up at 23 years old and told me the doctors gave her two weeks to live, she was dying with the same leukemia my father had, I had a different attitude. And that girl is alive today, some six, five, four years later, however many years it’s been. She’s married. She’s healthy, and she’s doing great. You see, we have to learn that in all things we have a choice to either fall apart or praise God. And if you fall apart, the whole rest of your life will fall apart. But if you praise God and give God the glory, God will restore what the devil has stolen from you. Don’t ever, ever, ever, ever blame God. Don’t ever do it because if you lose your source of God and blame Him, your whole rest of your world is going to fall apart and you’ll never be able to put those pieces back together.

RR: Lindsay.

LR: But when you have that rock of foundation of God, the rest will come back together.

RR: Lindsay, while you’re saying that, I’m really feeling something in my spirit and I want you to just go ahead because the Lord gave me a witness in my spirit while you were talking that there’s someone right now who is about to give up on a situation and they really need your prayers specifically and I want you to pray for them right now.
