A Wonderful Mother's Day Gift by Richard Roberts

Don’t say this, honey. Let’s talk about something else. There are some children that when they throw up…… Jordan, don’t listen to this. …then there are some that just…. You’re embarrassing your daughter. you know, and it was just…… Julie is….. Jordan is an arker.

It went everywhere. It just everywhere. It covered Lindsay from her head to her feet. And that happens with babies……The chair, the carpet, me. But the good thing is you got to go take a bath. She was pretty active last night, let’s just say that.

That’s a pretty good Mother’s Day gift. Yes, Jordan’s a wonderful Mother’s Day gift. That’s right. We just have to get her to throw up on you now. She’s just learning to project. I wasn’t born yesterday. I have a sensitivity of when babies are about to throw up. It’s time to put them in their mama’s arms. The first time I changed her you left the room and said, “I’m going to be sick.” You’re so strong and helpful around the house. Chicken Little. Now how am I going to get myself out of this?

Here’s a letter from a man in Hartford City, Indiana, and I must share this. Oh, what a wonderful letter this is. “Dear Richard, On April 3rd I finally got the nerve to call the Abundant Life Prayer Group. I talked to one of your wonderful prayer partners and I told him that I needed prayer for a healing in my body. I really felt like a medical book telling him everything that was wrong with me. I’ve been a diabetic for 40 years.

Through the years due to complications of this disease, I lost my sight, I’ve lost my left leg below my knee, and my right leg was doing very badly. In fact, my right foot developed a sore on the heel that would not heal. The doctor finally opened the sore and had to cut away clear to the bone. That was last October and ever since then I could not put any weight on that foot. The pain was so terrible I could not describe it. The doctor told me he was going to have to amputate it.

That would be the second leg. I called the prayer group and a prayer partner prayed for me and asked me if I would believe when he prayed. I told him I did believe. Then he said to do something that I could never do before and this threw me. I thought for a few seconds and then told him that I didn’t know what that could be. He said, well, it would have to be something that I would have to decide but to do something, to move something.

So after I hung up I started thinking about what he said. I put my right foot on the floor and began pushing on my heel while I was sitting on the couch.”
