But they don’t have to be administered with a whip and a chain, you know. You can demonstrate the love of God and still have rules and regulations. You know, the Bible has rules and regulations, but God doesn’t use a whip and a chain on us. Thank God.
But, anyway, Paul is saying, “I’ve observed that you’re very religious, and I’ve seen all these,” and he quoted them pieces of worship, you know, models of worship. “And one of them has inscribed on it, TO THE UNKNOWN GOD. Well, let me tell you who that God is.”
You know, you get more flies with honey than you do with vinegar. You don’t win people over by coming in, saying, you know, “I don’t like you.” Do you know what I mean? You know, it’s like the woman who went to the doctor and had this big growth on her nose. And the doctor said, “That’s got to come off.” And she said, “I want a second opinion.” He said, “Okay. You’re ugly too.” That’s not how you win friends and influence people, you know.

Well, how many of you like to fish? Anybody here like to fish? I love to fish. And, Jake, I know you like to fish. You like to hunt too, don’t you? I love to fish. I’ve noticed in my fishing, I have never once cleaned a fish before I caught it. How can you clean a fish until you get it in the boat? You can’t clean the fish when it’s still in water.© Copyright 2012admin, All rights Reserved. Written For: Richard Roberts
