Breathing conditions, I command you to go. Stomach problems, be thou made whole, especially you ulcers.  In Jesus’ name, I speak to the ulcer.  I command it to go.  I speak the name of Jesus Christ and command this sickness, this disease, whatever it is.  Maybe it’s a disk in your back.  Are thou made whole in your back, in every area, from the crown of your head to the soles of your feet.  I speak the word of living life, of healing to you, in Jesus’ mighty name.

Lindsay, there’s someone who’s ear has been ringing for days, and God’s healing the ringing in the ear right now. Whoever you are, you’re receiving that healing, you know it’s you, pick up your phone and call us and let us know what God’s doing.

LR: Do you know what you said?  You said “living life.”  You know, many people have been going around, walking around living death. They’re not dead on the outside, just dead on the inside.

RR: Yes.

LR: They feel like they died, but their body is still moving.

RR: Yes.

LR: And I believe God has living life, from the crown of your head to the soles of your feet, outside and inside.

RR: That’s right.

LR: Many times it’s the hurt on the inside that hurts worse than some of the hurts on the outside.  And I believe in Jesus’ name God is healing you inside out, right side up.  He’s turning all the garbage that maybe nobody can even see, but you know it’s there. I believe that God can heal it inside out and make you new.  You know where I was talking while you were starting the program, but I got to see a miracle.

I got to visit a miracle.  I had a little friend here in town that had a baby, and we prayed for the baby, little Adam, on the program.  And something went wrong in the surgery, and I got the privilege of seeing mama and Adam tonight and they came here to the studio.  And, I’m telling you, when you see God operate as God and that which was in the natural just devastation and God turns to miraculous, I tell you what it’s exciting.  It is exciting.  And I thank God for His saving, healing, and delivering power.

RR: I do too.

LR: And it’s a miracle.  I love looking at miracles.  I get tickled looking at miracles.

I pray, oh, I pray for blood to become pure, to flow through the body and to bring health and strength.  And I pray for the Holy Ghost to fall and fill everyone.  And I believe in the name of Jesus Christ, God is doing it.

RR: Oh, hallelujah!  Give the Lord praise tonight.  I feel it.  I feel it.  I feel it.  If you’re experiencing the touch of God, if you feel the touch of God tonight, I want you to go to your telephone right now and call us. RR: I’m jealous.  I’m jealous that he gets to come.  I’m just jealous.  I’m jealous.  What’s happening, Lindsay?

LR: Special prayer for marriages, and your father had just mentioned about being married over 50 years, and this person called in and said, “Please pray for marriages right now, would they please pray for their marriage.

“  And so I believe that God not only heals bodies, He heals finances, He heals marriages.  You know, the Bible says you touch and agree.  Isn’t it funny it didn’t just say you talk and agree?  But He said if you will touch and agree concerning any one thing, it will be done of my Father which is in heaven.

And another thing is, you know, we talk about the 1-900 numbers or the different things that people are reaching out to, just like this person called in for healing in their marriage. The reason they’re reaching out to something is because they’re hurting.  You know, there’s got to be a void or a lacking or emptiness or a hurting somewhere to cause you to reach out.

You know the telephone commercial, reach out and touch someone.  You know, it’s because you’re hurting and there’s a void.  And I believe that God has the supernatural ability to fill those voids, including in marriages.

RR: Lindsay, would you just lead the prayer and I’ll join in with you?

LR: Sure.  Father, in the name of Jesus I just pray for marriages right now.  Father God, I believe that that is created of you. And, Father God, if you created the office of marriage, then you can create holy godly marriages.  So, Father God, right now I ask for you to heal marriages just in the same way that you healed bodies and you healed spirits and you saved souls and you bring healing and restoration to finances.

RR: People have been saying to me, “What are you doing stretching out your hands and having people, having peopled lay hands on your hands?”  That’s what the disciples did.

LR: Do you want to know just how scriptural this is?

RR: Wait a second.  You say, “You’re not one of His disciples.” Well, we’re right, I’m not one of the twelve.

LR: Yes, you are, the Bible says.

RR: But the Bible says if you continue in my word

LR: In My word.

RR: then you are my disciples.

LR: True.

RR: No, I’m not one of the twelve; I’m one of the millions.  I’m one of the disciples.  I’m one of the apostles because I’m following in the Word of God.  Hallelujah!

LR: And through the hands.  The what?

RR: Hands.

LR: Wait a minute, hold that thought.  The apostles brought many signs and wonders were done among the people.  Now, and then it said about the shadow.  Show me where that was.  And it says, “So they brought out the sick into the streets and laid them on the beds and couches that at least the shadow of Peter passing by them might fall on some of them.”  They were healed from the shadow of Peter passing by them.  Okay

RR: That’s faith.

LR: Do you know what one translation actually says about that that that is the glory or the anointing that was on Peter that actually was transmitted when his shadow passed?  I was talking to one of the guys here in the studio this afternoon.  I’m about as technical as zero.  I know nothing technical about television, nothing.  You know, I turn it on, I turn it off, and if that doesn’t work, you throw your shoe at it.

That is all I know about television.  But he told me today and now you’ll have to help me with the technical details, guys, because I am not a technical person.  But the way that television takes its signal from the camera is, it actually transmits shadows.  Okay.      ”So they brought the sick onto the streets and lay them on beds and couches, so that at least the shadow” did that ring a bell? “Of Peter passing might fall on them.”  Now it says, “Through the hands of the apostles, many signs and wonders were done among the people.

What did Jesus say?  “They shall lie”

RR: Hands.

ANNOUNCER: This is what actually took place at the Charleston, South Carolina, crusade on April 22, 1958.

OR: you’re deaf in the left ear.  Are you hearing me from the right?

MRS. W. C. MURPHY: From the right.

OR: You have a heart disease.

MRS. M: Yes.

OR: And you said on your prayer card, “I believe I can be healed through your prayers by God.”  Is that right?

MRS. M: That is correct.

OR: And you’ve been healed before, you say, and you walked after one year.  When was that?

MRS. M: It was about six years ago.  I was in a car accident, and I was crushed all the way down, T-totally paralyzed, and I was lying on a plank for one year and a half.  There was a room ready for me at the hospital to put me in a walker to teach me how to walk.

OR: Well, what did you do?  Pray?

MRS. M: I heard your prayers, and through your prayers to God and my praying and your praying, your contact with God

OR: Well, where was I?

MRS. M: You were over the television.

OR: I was right there with you.

MRS. M: You were there with me.

OR: Yes.

MRS. M: And about 5 o’clock in the morning, God said, “Get up off of the bed and walk.”  I begged my husband to stand me on my feet.  He did.  He held out his arms, and I walked across the room.  I cancelled the room at the hospital.

OR: And here you are.

MRS. M: In the name of God.

OR: Lord Jesus, May the left ear is healed by God.  Mrs. Murphy, turn around.  Close up the right ear with your hands or finger.  Can you hear me now?

MRS. M: Yes.

OR: Say, I love You, God.

MRS. M: I love You, God.

OR: With all my heart.

MRS. M: With all my heart.

OR: Mrs. Murphy

MRS. M: I’m healed.  I’m healed.

OR:

Mrs. Murphy, I just started to say a woman of your faith will get healed.  How did you discover it was healed?

MRS. M: I knew the very minute that you laid your hands on me God would heal me.  When I went home, I wanted to be perfectly satisfied, so I rammed cotton, my fingers, I stopped my good ear up, and I still could hear everything.  Then to convince it, I went back to the doctor that told me that I was deaf, which I knew I was.  He had given me the hearing test.

OR: Yes?

MRS. M: And I’ve heard ever since.

OR: Mrs. Murphy, right up here I want you to talk a moment.  There’s somebody that wants to be healed.  What did you do what word would you give to someone who wishes to be healed by God?

MRS. M: First, you have to trust God.  You have to have faith, knowing that God can do all things.  With Him everything is possible. Never have any doubts.  Never let anyone tell you anything.  Read it, know it, believe, and trust in God, and you will definitely get what you ask for.

OR: Amen.

Now that’s the foundation of Calvary.  That’s why Jesus said, “If you don’t forgive, your Heavenly Father will not forgive you.”  How can we be children of God when He has forgiven us of such a great debt, a $4.5 billion debt, when Jesus is the very worst debt that we can sin against each other is basically $10,000 compared to $4.5 billion.  I’m shortening this extremely, but I’m doing it because of the sake of time.

And so a Christian has got to realize you can’t forgive until you realize what you’ve been forgiven of.  And, you see, there’s so many believers today that are trapped, and that’s exactly what offense is.  It’s a trap.  They’re tormented by demonic powers because an offense is a trap.

RR: Well, they’ve been hurt.

LR: You think you have every ability to say, “Well, he did this wrong, that wrong, this wrong, that wrong.”  And the greatest revelation I ever got on this, first of all, was reading your book.  It’s marvelous.  I have to say that flat out, it’s marvelous.  And everybody who has ever even taken a breath needs to read the book, because sometime if you live long enough, you’re going to get offended by somebody or you’re going to offend somebody else.

But I was parading my offenses to my mother one day, having this great revelation of how wronged I was and I was in the right which I was.  I mean, I knew I was.  I mean, flat out, end of scenario.  I was right, which is the way we all feel, of course. But she called me back in about 15 minutes.  She said, “I’ve had a word from the Lord on this.”  And she wrote it on the inside of a panty hose container.  I thought, “Oh, come on, mom, this is going to be good.”  And she said, “No, I got a word from God.” So I thought, “This is going to be one of those ‘my-child-how-right-you-are’ words.”  She said the Lord told her to tell me, “You have every reason to be offended, but according to God’s Word, you have no right.”  And we can come up with some really good reasons.

J: Yes, you can be a hundred percent right and be wrong.

LR: But we have no right to hold the offenses.

Nowhere in the Bible can you find where Jesus rejected someone.  Oh, there were those who rejected Him.  Nowhere in the Bible can you say He refused someone. Well, wait a minute.  What about the Syrophoenician woman that He refused?  Well, just read the rest of the Scripture. When she worshiped Him, He said, “Woman, great is your faith.  So be it done unto you.”  And her little demon-possessed daughter was healed.

Never in the Bible can you find where He refused.  Oh, you can find instances of people refusing Him.  Never can you find where Jesus did not receive someone.  Oh, you can find people who didn’t receive Him, but Jesus is in the receiving business.  He receives us just like we are.  He loves us just like we are, but He loves us even more than that, to help us not to stay the way we are but to get better in His name.

He was moved with compassion and He healed their sick. That’s why we’re on television with Something Good Tonight The Hour Of Healing, because it’s your hour, it’s your hour of healing. LR: That’s right.

LR: Did you live to the testimony of that man that was talking about seeing that little placard that said I Am The Healed Of The Lord?

RR: Oh, yeah.  I saw that little placard right there.  Do you remember how that placard came about?

LR: That placard came about several years ago by a young ORU student, a girl that we had known from New Orleans, Louisiana, watched her grow up from really a little child in Charles Green’s church. Her hope and dream was to come to ORU.  Came to ORU, was one of our chaplains.  Everything was really quite glorious in her life until one day she started having a strange, irregular heartbeat, and then her heart would stop altogether.  And then it would start up.

And they took her to doctor after doctor, and they finally just said basically, “She needs open-heart surgery, needs to fly to Houston,” and one story after another. Well, as it turns out, her parents were brought here.  This whole thing was emergency.  And I didn’t I was able to run down, track down her mom while her mom was racing in between one hospital visit and another.  We kept missing each other.

So I went to the hotel where she was staying, and I just wrote her a little note.  And I said, “Don’t call her by her first name anymore.  Don’t call her Amy” and her whole name.  I said, “Call her Amy comma, the healed of the Lord.”  And I said, “From this moment on, you never refer to her anymore as Amy without saying she is Amy, the healed of the Lord.”  And that’s how that began.

SPKM DINO KARTSONAKIS The meaning of that, again Greek, oh how I love Him, how I adore Him.

SPRR RICHARD ROBERTS We have just a few moments before our program closes and I want us to take time right now to pray with those who are watching, many people across this nation and Canada and even in foreign nations.  I got a call the other day from Bishop Harold down in Jamaica who said, “There’s a satellite dish here and we can get your program here in this city in Jamaica every day and we watch you faithfully every day.” Bishop Harold, if you’re watching this morning, God bless you. SPKM DON POTTER  PRYM Heavenly Lord Jesus, we come before You as servants, Father, at best.  We lift our hearts to You, Father God.  We ask for Your guidance by Your Holy Spirit, Almighty God. Touch us, Father, this day.  Open those places, Father.  Teach us what a broken and contrite heart really means, O God.  Show us that servitude has not much to do with being the master of anything, mighty God, but it has all to do with serving You as the King of this universe, O God.  We lift up our hearts to You. SPKM DINO KARTSONAKIS  PRYM Oh, how I love Him, how I adore Him. Father, I played that from the bottom of my heart.  There’s such a sense of love in this studio. Lord, we love You with all our hearts.  You’ve supplied our needs and we know You’re going to continue to supply our needs, Father.  Lord, I pray this moment. I just feel that we need to pray for Oral. Continue to give him courage.  Continue to give him wisdom, divine wisdom, we want that more than anything.  And, Lord, how we need that wisdom.  We commit everything to You and will continue to serve You with everything that we have, the talent that You’ve given to us.  In Your name we pray.

And I won’t stop praying and believing until the miracle comes. RR: John, I’ve had to learn how to forgive people who have hurt me. And in cases, I’ve had to go to them, the Lord has sent me to them to tell me to ask them to forgive me because I’ve been holding something against them for what they have done to me.

LR: And it’s a seed.

RR: God has released me in other areas of my life when I’ve done that.  It hasn’t been easy.  I remember one man who had said some terrible things about me on television.  This was maybe ten, fifteen years ago things that weren’t true.  And I was deeply hurt and offended, and then I was bitter at him.  And the Lord spoke to me and said, “Go to him and ask him for forgiveness.” And I said, “Why?  I’ve done nothing.”  He said, “You go ask first.”  So I did.  I asked him to forgive me for holding it against him.  And there was a healing.  He said, “Well, I found out what I said wasn’t true and I’m sorry.”  And there was a healing between us.  But it happened because I went to him.  He was the one in the wrong, not me, yet God sent me to him to ask him to forgive me.

J: That’s amazing because that’s exactly what happened to me in the two deepest things that happened to me.  God told me to go to both men both times and apologize for being critical and judgmental of them.  And when I did, it opened it up and we came together.  We reconciled together, one of whom, you know, the man continued in his ways.  The other one, we are still like this today, and that was the deepest one.

SPRR RICHARD ROBERTS No matter what it looks like, God can take the situation in your life and He can turn it around for you. And I have a wonderful testimony to share.  Something miraculous has happened because I made a mistake yesterday.

SPLR LINDSAY ROBERTS You did.

SPRR RICHARD ROBERTS It wasn’t something miraculous I made a mistake.  It’s miraculous.  Yesterday I got up on the program and I told the people how I decided to take a bath rather than a shower and I found all these little bear–there’s no regular soap at our house.  They’re all in shapes of bears and ducks and rabbits.  And I made a terrible mistake.  I shouldn’t have mentioned on the air, but I’ve had a miracle.  I have now received in the mail, since yesterday, I’ve received Zest, I’ve received Coast, I’ve received Lifebuoy and I understand there is more soap on the way.

SPLR LINDSAY ROBERTS Now wait a minute, wait a minute.

SPRR RICHARD ROBERTS I’m taking this home.

SPRR RICHARD ROBERTS If Jordan doesn’t eat it.

SPLR LINDSAY ROBERTS We have our cameraman that said, “Do you think he’ll get mad if I put it on the little counter in front of him?”  And I said, “Jimmy, I don’t think he could get mad at you.”  Jimmy is six foot seven inches tall and I don’t think Richard will say a word to him about it.

SPRR RICHARD ROBERTS No, I’ll take the soap home and use it.

SPLR LINDSAY ROBERTS Yes.

SPRR RICHARD ROBERTS Especially if he bought it.

SPLR LINDSAY ROBERTS When you’re trying to teach children colors, use little pink–

SPRR RICHARD ROBERTS Because he’s so tight he squeaks.

SPLR LINDSAY ROBERTS He’s going to get you.  You have to use things to let them learn, and we have little pink bunnies and we have blue ducks and all those neat things.  So that’s how Jordan learns her colors and her animals.

SPRR RICHARD ROBERTS Yeah, I know.

SPLR LINDSAY ROBERTS So–and that’s what daddy did.

SPRR RICHARD ROBERTS And you take your life in your hands when you get in the bathtub because those things are so small you’re liable to step on them.

SPLR LINDSAY ROBERTS I know.  We put them all in the sand pail and we count them and do all those neat things.  See what you miss out when you don’t take a bath.  I tell you, you miss all the good things.

SPRR RICHARD ROBERTS I take showers, you see.

SPLR LINDSAY ROBERTS Get out of this.  Go ahead and get yourself out of this one.  Now we’re going to put all the pink bunnies in the shower.  Read your testimony and I’ll be quiet.

SPRR RICHARD ROBERTS Here’s a testimony.  Here’s a

SPRR RICHARD ROBERTS Here’s a testimony from New York.  “This morning my husband was trying to get me to go to the doctor because of the severe pain I’ve had in my left shoulder.  And I was ready to go, but then you began to pray.  I was watching your television program.  As I walked across the room I heard you say, ‘God’s giving me a word of knowledge about someone who’s having left shoulder pain.  It’s being healed right now.’  Praise God, Richard, as I walked across the room all the pain left.  I am healed.  I know God will not fail me.”

The first show that she sent a letter out on me was a show called in L.A. on Channel 4 and it was called and she sent it out and they sent back and said, “Oh, no, it will take 6 or 7 months to put Barbara on the show because our talent are booked way in advance.” Chris called and said, “How do you like that?  Seven months before I can get you on the show.  Are you still going through this insane thing?”  I said, “Chris, send them some more information.  Tell them that I’m a Christian and I want to talk to people.  I’ve got to get my message across about God.”  She sent another letter back and they called and said, “Please have her out as soon as you can.”  I did that show.

They had never done this before, Richard.  And, you know, I have disobeyed God because God has asked me to get out there and really talk about him and let people know there is a God.  Women that are in business that are successful, you know, will come to me now and say, “Gee, you know what?  If you can be a Christian and look the way you look, why can’t I be a Christian?”  because they thought that in order to be a Christian and serve God you had to look unkempt, you didn’t wear any makeup, your clothes didn’t look right, they came from homes where the parents said, “If you’re a Christian, you don’t dress up.” I have spoken around the country and I’ve had so many come to me and say, “Look, if you can be a Christian and believe in the Lord and do what you’re doing, so can I.”  When I became a Christian, I want you to know, Richard, that things were not as great in the beginning the first six months, yes.  It was beautiful.  My sales went up, my buyers were changing their appearance, about me, their personal about me.  Things were going great and then all of a sudden the rug, the whole floor went out.

SPRR RICHARD ROBERTS The bottom fell out. SPKM BARBARA WALDEN Satan got on to me and I had friends of 22 years who started calling me names, who said, “You are insane.” I was sitting at a dinner table in a restaurant with my dear friend of 22 years and she turned to me and said, “Barbara, what kind of garbage is this you believe in, who will let little babies die?”  He said, “You are one of the most intelligent women I’ve ever met.  You are insane.”  Then he started calling me stupid.  I turned to my friend and said, “God doesn’t let little babies die.  The devil lets babies die.”  And, you know, the other friend said to me, “Then we’re serving the wrong god, if the devil has more power.”  I went through, believe me I cried and I prayed and I fell on my knees.  Sometimes I’d get on my knees and I’d just crawl around in my bedroom and say, “God, I need you.  Help me. I’m new at this.  Tell me what to do,” because I look at your father and what happened to your dad and when I was going to be on your show I got phone calls saying, “Are you going to do that show?  You wouldn’t be going there.” And I said, “Look, let me tell you something.  You don’t know what God will tell you to do.”  Do you know, if I would tell the world the things that God has told me to say and do, they would really think I was crazy.  Last night in my hotel room I said, “God, I’m doing this show.  I want you to speak through my tongue.  You tell me.”  Do you know what he said to me?  “I’ve told you and I’ve told you that you must bring the people in to God.  You must not be embarrassed.  Don’t think that if you go out there and talk about God they’re going to say, ‘Well, she’s doing it to enhance her business.’  Your business has been successful.  You are talking about God.  Forget about that.”

And this is what I’m doing on this show.  If there is anybody out there that is listening to me today and if you don’t have God in your heart, time is running out. SPRR RICHARD ROBERTS Well, I think, Barbara, we ought to just join hands and I think you ought to lead somebody to Jesus right now.  That’s what the Holy Spirit spoke to you last night in your hotel room and I think you just ought to look at them and pray for them right now.
