Now everyone listen to me.  How has this happened tonight?  How has this happened?  It has happened by the power of God.  Now everyone listen to me.  I want you to give me your attention.

I want you to notice that the blind beggar called Jesus Lord.  Everyone listening.  Everyone quiet.  He called Him Lord.  When I was 20 years old, I called Jesus Lord.  I fell on my knees, and I asked Jesus Christ to come into my heart.  They’re rejoicing because of the miracles.

Tonight I’m going to lead you in a prayer.  I’m asking you a question tonight.  Do you want to receive Jesus Christ as your Lord?  Do you want me to pray for your sins to be forgiven?  And do you want to receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior?  If you do, if you want me to pray for your salvation, then I want you to lift your hand right now.

I’m going to pray a salvation prayer.  I will ask you to repeat it after me.  If you’re sincere with God, if you want to repent of your sins, if you want to receive Jesus as your Lord, then I’m asking you to pray this prayer out loud after me.

Are you ready?  O Lord, be merciful to me a sinner.  I am a sinner, Lord, and I am sorry.  I repent.  I turn my back on the past.  I renounce the devil and all of his works.  And I confess with my mouth that Jesus is the Son of God.

And I receive Him as my Lord and Savior.  Come into my heart.  Forgive my sins.  Cleanse me.  Heal me.  Deliver me, and set me free.  From this moment I make a commitment to God.  He is my Savior.  He is my Lord, and I will never be the same again.  Hallelujah!  Hallelujah!

Now I’m asking all the pastors to come and stand with me.  All the pastors, come and stand.  Come and stand, all the pastors, all you pastors.  In a few moment’s time, the counselors are going to put decision cards in your hand.

If you prayed that prayer with me and if you believed on the Lord Jesus Christ tonight, then when they hand you that decision card, you fill it out.  Fill it out tonight before you leave the rally grounds, and put it in the hands of one of the counselors.  The counselors are the ones wearing the yellow shirts.

I am looking forward to tomorrow night.  God has given me a special message for you tomorrow night.  You must be here by seven.  God has given me a special message for you.  Pastor Kimso.

What am I trying to say?  I am saying that Jesus is big in me.  How did He get big in me?  Because just like Bartimaeus, the day came when I heard about Jesus.  I was 20 years old when I heard about Jesus.

I was not blind in my eyes, but I was blind in my heart.  I was blind to the things of God.  I was blind to His work.  I was blind to His love, until someone told me that Jesus was passing my way.

And someone told the blind man that Jesus was passing by.  And Bartimaeus began to shout, “Jesus, thou Son of David, have mercy on me.  Jesus, thou Son of David, have mercy on me.”

And people told him to, “Shut up.  Be quiet.  Leave the Master alone.”  Many people feel that God is too busy for them, that He’s too busy handling the affairs of heaven and that He’s not interested in mankind.

You may think that if you call on Him tonight, He’s too busy to hear your call.  But that is not true.  God is never too busy to hear your cry.

And Bartimaeus got a glimpse of that on the inside.  And the more they told him to be quiet, the more he shouted, “Jesus, thou Son of David, have mercy on me.”

And Jesus stopped, and He turned toward Bartimaeus and said, “Bring him to me.”  And if Jesus will hear Bartimaeus, He will hear your cry.  For the Bible says that He is no respecter of persons.  If He will hear Bartimaeus, He will hear you tonight.

Jesus said, “Bring him to me.”  And Bartimaeus did a very unusual thing.  The Bible says that he took off his beggar’s garment.  He wore an outer garment.  And that garment sent a message to everyone, to everyone that passed him.  That garment said, “You’re blind.  You’ve always been blind, and you will always be blind.”

That garment said, “There’s no hope.”  The garment said, “There’s no way, and that you’re destined to be blind for the rest of your life.”

But when he called on Jesus and he got a glimpse of Jesus the healer, he said, “I am going to Him, but I’m taking this outer garment off.  This garment has represented my blindness.  I’ve worn it every day.

In Jesus’ name, there’s a wave of healing right now.  Eyes are being healed.  I’ve spoken it.  In the authority of name, there’s another healing.  There’s another eye opening now.  There’s another eye opening right now.  There’s another eye.  Vision is being restored right now.

Legs are being healed.  There’s heat coming from the feet, and it’s coming up.  It’s coming up.  The healing power is coming up.  It’s coming up the feet, up the leg, up the knee, and coming up the hip.  It’s coming in the backs.

Yes, it’s even coming into the chest.  Lung condition, allergies, sinus, a breathing problem, in the name of Jesus, I speak to your lungs.  Lungs, open up.  Breathing problem, come out, in the name of Jesus.

Someone’s breathing is opening up now.  Someone’s breathing is opening now.  Someone can breathe all the way in and all the way out.  That’s God healing your lungs tonight.  That’s God healing your lungs tonight.  That’s God healing your lungs tonight.  Lungs to breathe, to breathe all the way in and to breathe all the way out.

Thank You, heavenly Father.  We lift our hands and we give You praise.  Lift your hands unto Him tonight.  Hold your hands high unto the Lord.  Give Him a wave offering tonight.  Thank You, Father, for healing tonight.

Deafness, deafness, deafness must go.  Deafness must go.  Deafness must go, in the authority of Jesus’ name.  I speak to deafness and the difficulty with hearing.  Here it comes, here it comes, here it comes, here it comes.

In the name of Jesus, there’s healing in ears.  I rebuke this deafness.  Come out, and it’s going, it’s going, it’s going, it’s going, it’s going.

Someone who’s—yes, someone who’s lost their hearing for ten years is being healed.  And someone for twenty years is being healed right now.  Someone in the stadium is being healed of deafness.  Examine yourself.  See what God is doing.

Lay your hand on your stomach.  Anyone with burning here, burning pain?  In the authority of Jesus’ name, kidneys, be healed.  Colon, be healed.  Intestines, be healed.  Every pain in your waist, be healed.  Every burning, come out.

The Bible says we have not many fathers.  It doesn’t say we don’t have enough.  It just says there aren’t many.  I not only have an earthly father, but I have a spiritual father.  Oral Roberts, my father, has been my mentor all of my life.

Six months ago my mother went home to be with the Lord.  And it was a very hard time in my family.  But the good thing is, we know where she is.  She is in heaven.  The Bible says, “To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.”

And now my father’s eyes are upon heaven.  And should the Lord tarry, I know it won’t be long until he will be headed to heaven too.  I said to him, “Daddy, I want a double portion of the anointing that has rested upon you.”

And he looked at me as his son and said what Elijah said to Elisha, “Son, if you see me when I go, you shall have a double portion.”  I wondered what he meant.  What did he mean?  And I think I had a word from God.  If I keep my eyes on Jesus, if I keep my eyes on the Lord in him, then I can have that double portion.  And I thank God for that.  I thank God for my Christian heritage.

When I was a boy I ran away from God.  During my teenage years, I wanted nothing to do with Christianity.  I wanted to be a nightclub entertainer and a professional athlete.  I was not interested in God.  I had my own plan, I had my own dream, and God was not a part of it.

My father and I had no relationship.  I had told him to stay out of my life and not to mention God to me.  And when you tell God to stay out of your life, He will.  The Holy Spirit is a gentleman.  He will not go against your will.  God will not go against your own belief.  But if you come to Him, the Bible says you must believe.

But I did not want God in my life, and so I left home.  My father had established a university by then, but I did not want to go there.  I wanted my own dream.  I was a young man, and I wanted my own life.

Pain in the chest, come out.  Come out.  Come out, in the name of Jesus.  Pain in the belly, come out, come out, come out, in the name of Jesus.

Hearing, be healed, in the name of Jesus.  Blindness, glaucoma, cataract, in the name of Jesus, be healed.  Vision, be restored.  Hearing, be restored, in the authority of the name of Jesus.

Cancer, you foul tormenting thing, in the name of Jesus, you come out.  Cancer, come out.  Cancer, come out.  Every growth, every tumor dissolve and disappear.  Every growth.  A-ha, it’s happening now.  It’s happening now.  There are tumors that are dissolving right now.  There are growths that are disappearing now.  In the name of Jesus, I speak to every tumor, every growth.  I command it to come out, come out.

Now there’s a wave of healing that’s beginning.  It’s coming across the crowd.  Lift your hands unto the Lord.  Say, “Heavenly Father, I receive my healing, in Jesus’ name.”

I speak it out, and I believe.  I speak to diabetes, diabetes, come out.  Come out.  Come out, in the name of Jesus.

Stomachs are being healed right now.  Burning pain in the waist is leaving now.  Back pain is leaving someone now.  Shoulders and arms are being healed.  Hips and feet and legs are being healed.  The power of God is going through someone right now.  Right now the power of God is going through someone right now.  You can feel it.  He’s touching you now.

I speak to heart disease.  Every artery, open up.  Heart muscle—yes, there’s healing in a heart now.  There are arteries that are opening now.  Be healed in your heart, in Jesus’ name.

In your lungs, God made your lungs to breathe.  In Jesus’ name, every lung open up.  Every lung open up.  Every lung open up.  Every lung open up.  Every lung open up.  Every lung open up.  Every lung open up.  Every lung open up, in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

If sickness comes against me, I want to get well.  Anybody here want to get well in your life?  If you’re going around the house saying, “Glory to God, I’m sick,” well, you’ve come to the right place tonight because that’s not of God.  God wants you well.  Turn to the person next to you and say, “He wants you well.”

Pastor, is it okay if I come down there?  I’m up here all by myself.  I’m going to come down where I can see, where I can touch you, where I can smell you, feel you.  I mean smell in the Spirit.  You know what I mean.

Somehow people get a suffering mentality.  It’s like the woman who said, “I always feel the worst when I feel the best because I know how bad I’m going to feel when I start feeling bad again.”  Do you know anybody like that?

Do you know anyone who is so negative that when they walk into a room, it feels like somebody walked out?  Now look straight ahead.  Don’t look right or left.  Do you know people like that?  Do you know people who are so negative in their approach?  Everything is negative.  And they have a gospel of “I can’t,” or “I shouldn’t,” or “I never will.”

You know, when I married Lindsay, Lindsay gave me a gospel of “You can, and I’ll stand by your side and I’ll help you do it.”  And she’s been doing that by my side now for 28 years.

We have three beautiful daughters, Jordan, who is 23, and Olivia, who is 21, and Chloe, who will be 19 next month.  And, thank God, they look like their mother.  And they’re back home in Tulsa.  They sent me off this morning to the airport with their prayers and told me to greet all of you.

You need someone to tell you you can.  Turn to the person next to you and say, “You can.”  Now on the other side.  And tell them, “You can.”  And say, “I really mean it.”

Some of you look like you’re low tonight.  Some of you look like that you’d have to be jacked up just to be buried.  A couple of you look like you haven’t smiled in two or three years.  A few of you, I don’t think you’d raise your hand on anything that I said.

I came to bring you a message that God is concerned about you.  He cares about you.  He knows who you are.  He knows where you live.  He knows what you’re going through.  He has His miracle touch for your life.

But you’ve got to engage.  You can’t sit back and say, “God, I expect You to do it all.”  In my experience, that won’t work.  He is an integral God.  He is a God that wants someone to partner with.

When Lindsay was carrying them, I always felt that Lindsay was at her prettiest when she was pregnant.  There’s a glow about a woman when she’s pregnant.  And when Lindsay was carrying our children, she would say, “I’m expecting.”

And it didn’t matter if it was raining, sleeting, snowing, didn’t matter if it was 100 degrees or 15 degrees.  It didn’t matter if she felt like it or she didn’t feel like it, she was expecting.  She was expecting that in nine month’s time, the seed sown in her body would produce a child.  And she would say, “I’m expecting.”

My mother, who is in heaven now, would go around our house when I was a boy, after planting her seed, the phone would ring, and as she picked it up, she would say, “Is this my miracle?”  Someone would knock on her door, “Is this my miracle?”  A letter would come, “Is this my miracle?”  She was in a state of expectancy.

And my father was telling this story to these pastors in his home just three weeks ago.  By the way, somebody’s getting healed in your left shoulder right now.  We’ve got to learn how to expect.  Most people don’t expect.  Now you go to Wal-Mart, or you go to Target, or you go to Big K or wherever you go, wherever you do your shopping in the grocery store, and you fill your cart.  What would happen if you went there and you paid for your groceries, but they never gave them to you?  You’d get mad, wouldn’t you?  You’d go to the manager.

And yet people give to God and don’t ever expect anything.  It’s like you go to a Coca Cola machine, and you put your coins in and then you make your selection.  And you expect a Coca Cola to come out when you press the button.  And if it doesn’t, what do you do?  You kick the machine.

Well, why would you treat God worse than you treat a Coca Cola machine?  I’m not talking about kicking the machine, but you sow your seed, you make your selection, you let God know what your needs are, as He teaches in His Word, and then you open your arms to receive from a benevolent and heavenly loving Father.

And I’ve heard my dad preach it so many times and you have too, “God is your Source,” you know.  It’s not your government, not your country.  Thank God for your government.  Thank God for your country.  Thank God for whoever is in the White House.  Thank God and pray for them.  Thank God for these people that do their jobs.

But they’re not our source.  Our bank is not our source.  Our paycheck is not our source.  Our family is not our source.  God almighty is our source.

It looks like in the natural that we’re coming into a tough season.  Seasons come and go.  Stock markets rise, stock markets plummet.  And then they come right back up again.  But you can’t live your life according to the stock markets.  You can’t live your life according to CNN.  You can’t live your life according to the circumstances that you see around you.  You have to live your life dedicated to God.

And I heard the Lord say to me earlier today, “This is a divine moment.”  Now I was studying my Bible the other day about some divine moments in the Bible.  And one of the first divine moments I came across was when this Roman army captain came to Jesus and said, “My military aide needs healing.”  And Jesus said, “I’ll come and heal him.”

The centurion said to Him, “It’s not necessary for you to come because I also am a man under authority.  I understand godly principles.  I have the authority given me by Caesar.  And I speak to my soldiers, tell them go, go, and they come, or to come and do this and they do it.  But I recognize that you, Jesus, you have authority over all authority.  You’re God’s only Son, and You have authority.  So you don’t have to come.  You just speak the word, and my military aide will be healed.”

And I tried to sign it, and I couldn’t write.  So I said, “Well, I’m just going to put my RR on it.  If you want me to sign it, I’ll just put my RR, and when I do, I’ll release my faith.”

Well, the phones started ringing.  And that wasn’t too long ago. And I’ve now signed over 70,000 of them.  And as of yesterday I’m 11,000 behind.  I ought to be signing them this week, but you’re here.  And I haven’t had any time.  And she’s got one right there with my RR on it. I signed that, ma?am.  Nobody signed that but me.

And God gave me a Bible method.  And I got a testimony from a woman last week whose husband had a stroke and went into a coma.  And the doctors were about to use the word, they were getting real close to using the word brain dead.  And she went into the hospital room in the ICU and put the prayer cloth on his head and prayed.  And the next morning he came out of the coma, and they released him from the hospital.

 Another testimony from a girl who fell and broke her ankle and put the prayer cloth on her ankle, and God healed the bone.  We’ve had hundreds and hundreds of testimonies. This is another Bible-honored way of praying for the sick.  And God will give you methods.  And you’ve got to be willing to launch out and reach out and do whatever He says, whenever He does it.

Now oftentimes I say, “Lord, I don’t want You to do that in this circumstance.”  And that’s when He’ll always do it.  “I don’t want the word of knowledge to work when I go to Walmart.”  But it does.  It works wherever I go, not because of me but because of Him.  And it will work through you if you will open yourself up.

And I want to challenge you tonight to be open and say to the Lord, “However You want to use me, if it’s through the laying on of hands, if it’s through the operation of the gifts of the Spirit, if it’s anointing oil, if it’s a prayer cloth, whatever it is, if it’s a good word.”

Another method that God has given me is from Psalm 107:20, “He sent his word and healed them and delivered them from their destruction.”  Oftentimes on television I’ll take my hand and say, “According to Psalm 107, I send the word to you.”  And I’ll say, “Walk over and touch my hands as a point of contact.”

I remember in the 1950?s watching my father put his hand up on television.  I remember how the kids in my class would laugh and mock at that.  I thought about that the first night the Lord said, “Put your hands up like that.”  And that’s when I found that Scripture that God worked through the hands of the disciples.

One of the first times I ever did it, the Holy Spirit said, “Say this out loud.  There’s a woman who’s got cancer of the cervix.  She’s pregnant.  She’s going to have to abort the child and have immediate surgery, and she’ll never have a child.  Tell her I’m healing her right now.”

II said that on television.  I said, “Whoever you are, Ma?am, come over and lay your hand on my hand.”  There was a woman who had just been diagnosed with cancer of the cervix.  She was pregnant.  Her husband was a policeman.  He was on the job.  She couldn’t tell him.  So she went to her mother’s house to tell her first.

GP:  Well, it’s so good to be here with you.  And this is a moment for me, as I stand here before you right now, because sometime during the last century I was here.  When I graduated from high school, I was not born again, and I had my life really planned out.  I was going to go to art school, I was going to follow in my father’s footsteps, and then go on to New York into advertising.  And about the second year of art school, I was born again.  At the end of that year I left and went back home, got involved in a church.  And every Sunday morning, before I would go to church, I would watch Oral Roberts on television. 

And every Sunday I would watch that fly-over introduction, “Something Good is Going to Happen to You, Expect a Miracle.”  And week after week after week the Lord, the Holy Spirit was pulling on me and drawing me to this place.  Where I got to a place where I had to come here.  I knew that there was something more for me here.  Now, at the time, I was not spirit filled.  I wasn’t praying in other tongues, but I knew, I knew that the Lord had something for me special in this place.  So I applied, I was accepted, I came here.  And, Richard, the very first day, the first day that I came on campus, and I know that – how many of you have attended school here or graduated? 

Let me see your hands.  You’ve attended or you’ve graduated.  The very first day, when I drove up the drive, and I saw the Prayer Tower, and I saw all the buildings, the Holy Spirit came on me, and I felt like I had just stepped into the will of God.  And I went to my room;  I unpacked and I got things settled.  And then I decided to go out for a walk.  And I walked around the campus and looked at the different things, preparing my self for classes.  And I went down to what is now called Lake Evelyn, and I sat under a tree and just began to pray.  Now I came here to major in music.  I wanted to study music. 

And I sat down under that tree, and I began to pray, and the Holy Spirit spoke to me and said, “You are called to be a pastor.”  And He had me change my major.  So right there, the very first day that I came on campus, the Holy Spirit spoke to me.  And I want to tell you, and I’ll be real quick about this, I want to tell you that every moment – now I was here for 9 months.  Now during that 9 months I met someone on my sister wing named Terri Copeland.  And we started dating each other and so forth, and by the end of that first year that we were here, we were engaged.  I mean, God moves fast.  When He wants something done, He moves real quick.
